Transition to the new system
Starting in spring 2026, we’re transitioning to a new student housing management system using StarRez, a leading residence platform adopted widely in Canada and across North America.
This change is part of a broad effort to modernize our systems and improve the online experience for UBC students.
The system you log in to depends on the type of housing you applied for or where you live.

Your student housing history and records are safe. StarRez is an encrypted platform that meets top information security standards. This transition won’t affect your existing contracts or applications.
