Fitness in Residence

We’re offering free group fitness and yoga sessions in residence this term. If you live in UBC Student Housing, these sessions are for you!

Schedule (January 17–April 16, 2023)

Please note:

  • There will be no classes held on Stat Holidays. Schedule subject to change without notice.
  • Sessions are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour and led by an instructor.
  • Remember to sanitize hands before and after class.
  • Follow all health/safety instructions provided by the instructor.
  • Bring your own mat to class (yoga)

Do I need to register?

Nope! All classes are drop-in.

Please note that classes have a limited number of people per session, depending on the size of the room they’re being held in. Arrive early to secure a spot.

Will I be the only newbie?

Don’t know how to downward dog? Don’t worry, our awesome instructors will be there to help you, so don’t feel lost!

What should I wear/bring?

  • Dress in comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes.
  • Bring a water bottle—fill up right from the tap.
  • For yoga:
    • bring your own mat and, if you have them, yoga blocks.
