Meal Plan
Place Vanier residents don’t have to cook. The mandatory All Access Dining Plan is valid at more than 30 campus locations, including Gather—Place Vanier’s on-site dining hall.
Commonsblock
The hub for many residence activities. Includes: Wi-Fi, dining room, fitness room, music rooms, group and private study spaces, ballroom, games lounge, and after-hours convenience store.

Sort It Out!
Sustainability is a shared value in residence. Place Vanier has a large sorting area with collection bins for household recyclables, e-waste, charitable donations, and trash. The dining hall has an area to separate and compost food waste.
Laundry Facilities
Machines operate on a convenient card system—no need to worry about coins. Facilities are located within each residence block.
Parking & Bicycle Storage
Limited monthly parking is available for a fee. Bicycle storage is available.
Outdoor Facilities
Place Vanier and Totem Park have on-site tennis and basketball courts and many acres of green space. Nearby Pacific Spirit Regional Park has over 35 kilometres of multipurpose trails to explore.
Health & Safety
Residents can access the on-campus medical clinic and safety programs such as SafeWalk. There are regular nightly patrols of residence properties.
