You’re almost done! Just a few things left to do.
Did you rank your preferences?
Your residence application is not complete until you go online to rank preferred room types. You are also welcome to update your choices if you change your mind. We try our best to accommodate preferences but cannot make guarantees.
Do you need to send additional documents?
- Students with disabilities must submit additional documentation demonstrating eligibility for priority access.
- Applicants requesting accommodation at Green College and/or St. John’s College apply for membership to the colleges directly.
- Applicants to Student Family Residence must send documents for all occupants—birth certificates, visas, passports and/or medical documentation—to our main office.
Request roommate groups
This is optional. Applicants can go online to request to live together before the deadline. You will need proper name(s) and student ID number(s). We try our best to accommodate these requests but cannot make guarantees.

Don’t miss the offer! Keep your email address and contact information current and keep us out of your junk/spam folder. Add these email addresses to your contact list: information@housing.ubc.ca; summer@housing.ubc.ca.
