Did you rank your preferences?
Your residence application is not complete until you go online to rank preferred room types. You are also welcome to update your choices if you change your mind. We try our best to accommodate preferences but cannot make guarantees.
Do I need to send additional documents?
Some students need to provide additional documentation or take additional application steps.
- Students with disabilities or ongoing health conditions can apply for accessible student housing.
- Students applying for membership to Green College and/or St. John’s College must apply to the colleges directly.
- Students applying for Student Family Residence at Acadia Park must provide documents for all occupants, as detailed below.
Additional documentation for Student Family Residence
Applicants to Student Family Residence must provide documentation for children and evidence of prior cohabitation.
Please email copies of your documentations to the Student Housing Main Office.
Documentation for children
Please provide a scanned/digital copy of one of the following:
- Passport
- Birth certificate
- Medical card
Evidence of prior cohabitation
Students who are applying with a partner or spouse, please provide a scanned/digital copy of at least one of the following:
- Joint bank account or credit card statements
- Documentation of joint ownership of residential property
- Joint residential leases
- Joint rental receipts
- Joint utility account statements (i.e., electricity, gas internet, cable, etc.)
- Documentation showing joint management of household expenditures
- Evidence of joint purchases, especially for household items
Request roommate groups
This is optional. Applicants can go online to request to live together before the deadline. You will need proper name(s) and student ID number(s). We try our best to accommodate these requests but cannot make guarantees.
Monitor your email inbox
If you receive a residence offer, you will need to pay a deposit within seven days of the offer date to secure your room. The deposit will be the combined total of your residence and meal plan first instalments.
March—majority of Year Round Residence offers are sent.
June—offers sent to prospective students for Winter Session Residence.

Waitlist?
Go online regularly to check your application status and position in the waitlist. We send offers to students on the waitlist throughout the entire year to fill vacancies.
