There is currently a toxic illegal drug supply in British Columbia and Canada, and accidental drug poisoning continues to be a major public health crisis. In this workshop, you will reflect on substance use and its impacts, examine stigma and biases you may hold that may prevent you from helping someone, and gain practical strategies to reduce harmful substance use for yourself and others. Safer partying skills will also be discussed.
Before attending this workshop, you’ll need to complete the First Aid for the Toxic Drug Supply Canvas course.
