Suite-style Residences

It’s your choice

UBC’s optional Savings Plus Meal Plan offers discounts at many campus food spots and is available to all UBC students, including those who live in residence at Walter Gage, Ritsumeikan-UBC House, Marine Drive, Fairview Crescent, Fraser Hall, Ponderosa Commons, Thunderbird, and Acadia Park.

Many students who live in these suite-style residences—including some first year students—may find it’s easier to purchase a meal plan while adjusting to the busy life of a university student. Plus, students can use their meal plan to mingle with peers and meet new people in the residence dining rooms at Totem Park and Place Vanier. Another option for students in suite-style residences is the flexible UBCcard Plan, which also offers discounts at dozens of campus food spots.

Graduate Colleges

St. John’s College meal plan and Green College meal plan are mandatory. Residents may choose to purchase a Savings Plus Plan or UBCcard Plan for extra convenience and savings around campus.
